THE BOOKS

The Ophir Institute endorses and has published the following books in which we find ourselves in agreement and full support in order to educate our fellow Filipinos. We only request you review the evidence for yourself. Don't just buy Colonial lines because that is what you have been taught but research this out and we believe most will find as we have.

A Thought From Timothy and Anna...

Foreward vs. Foreword

The Authors' preference:

Some may notice and most, likely will not, but we chose the title of our opening section for our books as a play on words as ForeWARD rather than the traditional Foreword. Yes, in literary works, Foreword is customary as it is the words before or at the beginning of the book. It is rather boring as a title when one thinks about it and we did not use it as we wished to spice up the front with depth. However, this book is anything but customary. We instead chose, and this is our prerogative as we chose all chapter names, to revive an Old English word that we deem more fitting. Foreward has far more significance and expresses what we wanted in a Foreword and what Secretary Belgica certainly captured. A Foreward is a vanguard, a protecting, a keeping and warding off evil for instance. We are uninterested in tradition for tradition's sake and in our book we restored this word with a very appropriate play on words from an ancient era as we cover antiquity much. It really does not matter who appreciates the pun but the word is what it should be and appears in each of our books as it should be spelled for this work. We like it. Yah Bless.
